How to select camera bracket?
The bracket is the supporting product of the camera and guard, which is closely matched with the type of the camera and guard. We can select suitable bracket from these as below:
Color: The color must be consistent with the site environment and the camera.
Materials: Different materials (composite fiber/aluminum alloy/stainless steel) support strength of camera and guard is different in different environment.
Adjustable Angle: Check whether the camera monitoring Angle can be satisfied.
Weight: Whether the bearing wall can support the bracket weight.
Bracket available: Whether to match with other brackets.
Environment: Indoor or outdoor installation, protection level and installation ways: wall/ceiling/wall corner.
Power box/Cable hiding box: In some environments, camera power cables or signal cable need to be hidden and protected for RJ45 port.
Installation mode:
The installations of camera are: Ceiling installation, lifting, wall installation, vertical rod installation, embedded installation, corner installation, over the wall installation, hidden cable box type, inclined base type, etc., Let’s introduce the variety of different installation methods as below:
01、Ceiling installation
A camera mounted directly on top of the ceiling by screws, cable inside the wall or on the side, as shown below:
02、 Lifting
The camera can be adjusted to a certain height by using an adjustable spreader bar.
03、 Wall installation
The installation of the camera is attached directly to the wall with screws.
04、Wall installation
The camera is mounted on the wall by a bracket, which can be understood as “arm mounted”.
05、 Vertical Pole installation
The camera is mounted on a road pole. The existing way is to create a flat surface with a hoop and sheet metal.
06、 Embedded installation
Embedded installation is generally only suitable for indoor ceiling occasions, suitable for dome camera, PTZ dome camera and other cameras with transparent cover.
07、Wall Corner installation
It is a mounting method of fixing the camera to the corner. The existing method is achieved by forming a flat surface in the corner of the sheet metal.
08、 over the wall top
When the equipment cannot be fixed directly on the outer wall of the high place, the overhead bracket is fixed on the inner wall first and then the connecting rod is rotated to adjust the angle of the equipment.
09、 Cable hiding box installation
Dome camera’s RJ45 connector cannot directly pass through the ceiling, when outside, it looks not beautiful. Usually a hidden box is used. The wire tail cable and RJ45 connector are placed inside the hidden box, which is beautiful in appearance.
10、 inclined base type installation
Dome camera or PTZ dome camera on the ceiling or wall, it is easy to have a dead corner area, because the image will be restricted by the camera angel; A slanted base is needed to compensate for the Angle (corridor mode).
